Circolo Golf degli Ulivi
18 holes Strada Campo Golf 59, 18038 Sanremo IM
18 hole, par 69, 5203 mt.
The Circolo degli Ulivi Golf Course in Sanremo extends over undulating terrain of different levels along terraces cut out from the side of the mountain. Sanremo has always been reputed for its mild climate, meaning that golf can be played all year round. The idea of building this golf course was launched by the municipality of Sanremo in 1932, with the object to promote tourism and offer foreign golfers an additional reason to spend the winter holiday in the mild, sunny climate of the Riviera. Though not particularly long the course is somewhat tricky, with very narrow, complex holes were precision rather than power is important. The Sanremo Golf Club has always hosted important events including the Italian Opens in the Thirties and Fourties, the Masters in the Eighties, the European Senior Tour in 2004 and the Italian PGA Championship in 2005, 2006 and 2007.
The restaurant managed by Davide Bisato offers typical specialties of Ligurian cuisine with hints of mediterranean and french cusine with an efficient service.
In addition to the wide English-style restaurant room you can dine on the outdoor terrace, which gives you the opportunity to enjoy a splendid panoramic view of the sea and the mountains overlooking the city.
