Concra Wood Golf and Country Club represents the exciting culmination of the Castleblayney Golf Club's evolution. Initially established as a 9-hole course in 1905, situated opposite the entrance to Concra Wood, it ceased operations in 1949. However, in 1985, the club experienced a revival and found a new home within the picturesque grounds of Hope Castle, offering breathtaking views across Lough Muckno. Eventually, in 2008, the club relocated once again to its current location and expanded into an impressive 18-hole course.
